Dancer is usually grouped with Italo, but it's actually from the Canadian disco scene. It was released in 1979 and was a perfect fit for The Warehouse. This track was beloved of Frankie Knuckles and is frequently cited as a classic of early Warehouse culture. Dancer was a club hit and was also played at the Paradise Garage by Larry Levan.
